What Is The “New Traditional Way”?

I know this is a subject touched everyday by home business owners, and it has brought a lot of debates and confusion to the work-at-home industry. I am talking about the “offline versus online marketing” dilemma.

Okay…

I spent 3 years working my business offline doing everything I was told to do by my upline and company trainers, and I made no money. In fact, I got into thousands of dollars’ worth of debt. Then, I began generating my own list online (more about that later), and I started to create relationships with that list, and it has made me the money only 2% of network marketers make.

So, here are my two cents: find the way you love to market your business and gives you results, and do it consistently!

If you are of those rare people who enjoys buying leads and cold calling them, if you enjoy coming up to someone in the supermarket and asking for their phone number, if you love giving DVDs, magazines, and flyers to friends and strangers, and if you are getting the results you want to get, then by all means DO THEM! They are not wrong; they are just not for most people today.

Technology has changed the way people market their businesses today. Now prospects and business partners expect a high-tech mixed with high touch approach. So MIXING BOTH is BECOMING the new “traditional way”. The prospects of today are not the prospects of 30 or even 15 years ago when there was no Internet, no Social Media sites, no search engines, no mass communication… and network marketing had to be marketed offline. Today the Internet is packed with hungry entrepreneurs looking for an expert to follow. In my humble opinion, there is no need to try to recruit your uncle, the woman in Starbucks, your list of “people you know” or even cold-calling unqualified poverty minded leads when you can choose from thousands of highly qualified, cash-in-hand business people all around the world.

What Are You Breathing In Your House?

I was recently reading about the effects chlorine has on human lungs and skin. My curiosity started after using Clorox Bleach to clean my floor and seeing my dog run upstairs faster than a Winchester .223 Super Short Magnum. That got me curious… is it that chlorine is that bad? What are the long term effects on humans?

Chlorine is a poisonous gas with a choking odor. According to dhs.wi.gov, the short-term effects of high chlorine exposure are nose, throat, and eye irritation, coughing, difficulty breathing, vomiting, and skin irritation. And the long-term effects include long and teeth corrosion. It is also said that people who smoke and/or drink alcohol and people with preexisting lung or heart disease are more sensitive to the effects of chlorine.

What About Our Children?

If my dog ran away so fast from smelling chlorine, what happens to our children when they are exposed to it and to other house cleaning products? It is said that children drink more water, eat more food and breathe more air than adults when you compare it pound for pound of body weight. So children are more vulnerable to chlorine and other chemical toxicants than adults. Of course, this is assuming you do not bleach your children’s toys and clothes, or that would make it even worse.

Also, according to the U.S. EPA, chlorine is a pesticide whose sole purpose is to kill living organisms. So, when we drink water or shower with water containing chlorine, what is it killing? Dr. Robert Carlson, a highly respected University of Minnesota researcher whose work is sponsored by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency, sums it all up by saying, “the chlorine problem is similar than that of air pollution… chlorine is the greatest crippler and killer of modern times!”

What Is The Answer To That Question?

 
You are about to read something that will set you free from condemnation and guilt from the past. As you read along you will get a deeper understanding of why your business is where it is today, and how to rise up the next level of success in your business starting today.

 

The answer to the question today is: Very much so, if you let it.

-How to Detach The Past From Your Current Business- 

Before I even get into that, I want to tell you my disclaimer: “I am a Christian-an ambassador for the Kingdom of Heaven. So, I will write the truth and not limit myself or my God to avoid the risk of offending someone. I understand if you believe in “new age” or any other god, and I will not judge you. In the same way you should not judge me or anyone who dares to mix their business with the Gospel. If you cannot handle it, no need to read any further.”

 

Okay, now, if you think no one has messed up as bad as you have, I got news for you: NOT true. We ALL have made terrible mistakes, we all have fallen short, and we all need to forgive ourselves once and for all so our business, families, ministries, and especially our relationship with God can develop to the fullest. But, today I want to focus on the status of our current entrepreneurial activities, which has a lot to do with whether we hang on to our past or not. 

 

Are you struggling financially? Are you spending more in your business than you are making? Are you having trouble calling your leads, prospecting, retailing your products, etc? Are you having self motivational issues? Here is the first step towards your freedom: Write down a list of people you need to forgive starting with your own name. I can link every issue in your business (and life) today to unforgiveness from a past mistake you made or someone who hurt you. People say to me, “I can’t forgive myself Damaysi, I don’t deserve it” or “oh, I don’t have any unforgiveness issues”… and yet they live in bondage of bitterness, anger, disease, poverty, etc. The issue is not if you or people deserve forgiveness or not, for if God were to think like that, He wouldn’t have sent Jesus to die for our sins. Who are we to hold unforgiveness towards people or ourselves? Do you want to know what stops us from self-forgiveness and the forgiveness of others? It is the lack of understanding the love of Godand the full meaning of the blood of Jesus. Not knowing in your heart (your inner man) the profuse love of God will cause you to hold unforgiveness towards others and towards yourself. Dear readers, the blood of Jesus is really enough! I encourage you to read Hebrews chapter 9 and 10 so you get a better understanding of the blood, and what it did and does for us. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord, your sins and mistakes have been taken care of forever! There should be no more reasons to look back and dwell on the past. The reason we keep looking at our past is because we do not fully understand the meaning of the Gospel. 

 

Are you sorry you wasted money on leads and never called them? Are you sorry you invested in a business because you thought you were going to work with a certain leader and this leader abandoned you or betrayed you? Are you still thinking of all the times you have said you were going to start afresh, follow directions from your mentor, organize yourself… and you didn’t? Here is the answer, repent, forgive yourself, and be done with it! Do not think about it or dwell on it once again! What does the Word of God say about us Christians? No matter how bad we have messed up, we still are: saved by grace, born of incorruptible seed, redeemed by the blood, forgiven of all our sins, a new creature in Christ, redeemed from the curse of the law, beloved of God, seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, a part of the royal priesthood, a member of a chosen generation, an ambassador for Christ the light of the world, a citizen of the kingdom of heaven, a joint heir with Jesus, accepted in the Beloved, complete in Him, crucified with Christ, alive with Christ, free from condemnation, reconciled to God, justified by faith, the temple of the Holy Spirit, the salt of the earth, the bride of Christ, the elect of God… and much more (read the Word). Please realize who you are in Christ. When we continue to let the past determine our present and future, we are telling God His forgiveness and the blood are not enough! The enemy is concerned with us focusing so much in our past (ourselves), that we don’t really know who we are! 

 

It’s time to raise up as a FREE generation of Christians! We need to take the spirit of unforgiveness and condemnation out of the bride!

WARNING to Home Business Owners!

According to John Troup, writing in the USA today, “The Average Olympian trains four hours a day at least 310 days a year for six years before succeeding. Getting better begins with working out every day… Given the equal talent, the better-trained athlete can generally outperform the one who did not give a serious effort, and is usually more confident at the starting block. The four years before an Olympics, Greg Louganis probably practiced each of his dives 3,000 times. Kim Zmeskal has probably done every flip in her gymnastics routine at least 20,000 times, and Janet Evans has completed more than 240,000 laps. Training works, but it isn’t easy or simple. Swimmers train an average of 10 miles a day, at speeds of 5 mph in the pool. That might not sound fast, but their heart rates average 160 the entire time. Try running up a flight of stairs, then check your heart rate. Then imagine having to do that for four hours! Marathon runners average 160 miles a week at 10 mph.”
Although most of you reading this will never become Olympic athletes, nor do you want to, you an become world class in whatever you do by putting in the disciplined effort to excel at your chosen trade, craft, of profession. To win at whatever game you choose to play, you need to be willing to pay the price.

I have a conflict my dear readers!

Please help me understand! I find myself often meeting people who say they want to succeed, they want to grow, change the world, give their children the best they can, etc, but during the course of the week, and sometimes during the course of the same sentence, they drop something like, “but I just don’t know how that’s going to happen”, or “it is so hard”, or “this Internet thing is not for me…”  Does that happen to you? Do you meet people like that? I say this with love, but we either TRAIN or COMPLAIN. 

Be WARNED! 

My best advice to you is to TRAIN and TRAIN until you become an expert in whatever you want to master. If we all train and work with excellence (especially if we do it as a team), we can be or achieve anything we want! Sound impossible? I am living proof of it. And this applies to our business, school, house work, prayer, cooking… everything.
